Location and history: Residence is located in SE Rapid City. Small three bedroom home with attached garage. No basement. Built approximately 1960. Research was unable to locate any tragic events or deaths prior to the current owner’s purchase of the property. The current homeowner’s father did pass away in the home approximately two years ago.

Reported Activity: Voices, shadows, object manipulation, feelings of uneasiness, cold spots. Homeowner has three year old grandson that claims to play with the spirit of an older gentleman. This older spirit appears to follow the child home which is located in another part of Rapid City. Homeowner believes there are two spirits in the home. One, which was present when she purchased the home and the other, which may be her late father.

Investigation Mar. 10th/11th: Investigators present were MarkS, Mo, Susan and MarkR. One static camera was set up in the NE bedroom where the father had passed away and had the most activity. Another was placed in the kitchen pointing back to the garage door where some bamboo chimes hung that where being manipulated. Through out the night shadows were seen at the end of the hall and in the bedroom of the homeowner.  Twice, within a short period, a shadow figure stepped out from a side room.  In an adjoining bedroom a shadow was observed blocking the lighted face of a clock. This was observed by two investigators.  During the shadow incidents a disembodied voice was heard coming from the hallway.  The voice was of a loud 'Sssh'.

Evidence review:  No video evidence of the shadows was caught.  Several EVP's along with the disemboided voice were captured on audio.

Conclusion:  There appears to be paranormal activity present in the home.  The homeowner is comfortable and feels nothing threatening. 

Equipment Used: Two Sony camcorders with NghtShot. Digital EMF detectors, Olympus and RCA digital audio recorders. Canon and Nikon digital cameras.

Weather:  Temps were mid to low 20’s with a light snow. Wind was NNW and in the mid 20mph. Moon was five days before entering a New Moon.
