A brief history of the property:  Research showed that it was built around 1896.  As with a lot of mountain communities the property is narrow and long.  Records also had an additional home built on the back end of the property.  That home was destroyed by a fire.  We have been unable to find any tragic events or deaths associated with the current home or fire.  The home is currently owned by a young couple and their two children.
 

Reported activity:    Child seeing and talking with an apparition that he called 'Cinderella".  Considering the home was built at the turn of the century and the type of dress, we could see how the child came up with the name "Cinderella".  Other activity included noises (footsteps, whispering, etc.) coming from the second floor.  One unusual occurrence involved the upstairs bathroom door.  The owners heard a large crash and upon investigating found the bathroom door to be separated at the top door hinge.  The bottom hinge was still intact.  The top pin was in the down position and the owner had to use a pair of pliers to pull the pin up to reattach the two hinge halves.

Investigation:    In our attempt to debunk the bathroom door we were unable to pull the pin out unless we could use pliers.  Thus, we were unable to debunk the door.  Hinges and door were original to the house and had multiple layers of paint.  During the investigation a few of us had some minor, personal experiences.  One personal experience occurred when two investigators entered the baby's room and a green, glowing mist appeared behind one of the investigators.  

Evidence:   After reviewing all of our evidence we had a few possible evps.  We had no video evidence.  The two links below are some of our audio.  The top link is from a digital audio recorder of an investigator entering the child's room and asking if 'Cinderella' was present.  After a bit of a pause you hear a hushed 'yes'.  The second link is from the Hi8 video camera we had set-up in the room.  You can hear the hushed 'yes' much better and sounds like it is almost over the camera.  The child's name has been edited from the digital audio and so there will be a section where there will be no sound.  That has been the only editing done to the audio.  The video was edited to the first hushed 'yes'.
